TERMS & CONDITIONS
BOOKING AND RENTING AT CELEBRA A VIDA RESORT
In these terms and conditions you’ll see which agreements apply when you book and rent accommodation at Celebra a Vida Resort Lda.
1. TENANT AND LANDLORD
YOU
By 'you' we mean you as a booker, tenant and fellow tenants.
WE/US
By 'we' or 'us' we mean Celebra a Vida Resort Lda, Rua Julião Florentino Topa 21, 8700-129 Fuseta, Moncarapacho. We are registered in the Registro Comercial in Portugal with number PT517109573. License Alojamento Local: 165551/AL, 165553/AL, 165554/AL.
2. RENTAL PERIOD
- The minimum rental period is 4 nights from 16 September to 14 June.
- The minimum rental period is 7 nights from 15 June to 15 September.
A shorter stay is only possible on request. We will then check what is possible and under which conditions. Sometimes there are also last-minute shorter stays available in the booking calendar. For example, if bookings already made do not match.
3. BOOKING AND DOWN PAYMENT
- You can book online, by phone or by e-mail.
- The booking is final after receipt of the deposit of 50% of the total rental amount within 1 week after receipt of the invoice.
- You pay the rest of the rental amount no later than 8 weeks before arrival.
- For bookings within 8 weeks before the start of the rental period, we ask you to transfer the total rental amount immediately.
- If you do not pay within the agreed period, we have the right to cancel the booking.
- If you do not pay the rest of the rent after the deposit, we consider this as a cancellation and no refund will be made.
4. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE DAYS AND TIMES
The arrival and departure days are flexible.
Check-in and check-out times:
- Check-in is possible from 16:00 pm.
- Check-out no later than 10:00 am.
In consultation and subject to availability, an earlier arrival or a later departure time is sometimes possible. Ask for the possibilities.
5. NUMBER OF PEOPLE
- Our DeLuxe and Grand DeLuxe accommodations on the ground floor are for a maximum of 4 people.
- Our lofts on the first floor are for a maximum of 2 people.
- For children up to 3 years old, an extra baby cot including bed linen and a baby/children chair can be booked on top of the maximum number of people.
- Please list all guests staying at the property when booking.
6. THE RENTAL PRICE
Prices are per accommodation per night.
What is included in the rental price?
- The final cleaning
- The use of bed linen, towels and tea towels, beach towels
- Water and electricity
- Wi-Fi, the use of TV with Chromecast and Netflix
7. TOURIST TAX
We are obliged to collect tourist tax. These are the rates in 2025:
Between November and April
- €1 per person per night with a maximum of 5 nights
Between May and October
- €2 per person per night with a maximum of 5 nights
- Children under the age of 16 do not have to pay tourist tax.
We kindly ask you to pay this amount in cash upon arrival.
8. CLEANING
- Final cleaning is included.
- We ask you to leave the house tidy when you leave. This means: Dishes done, garbage removed and all furniture and items are in the same place as at the start of the rental.
- For stays longer than 8 nights, we clean 1x a week and replace bed linen, towels, tea towels and beach towels.
- An extra cleaning is possible for € 30.
- An extra bed linen change is possible for €5.
- An extra bath linen plus kitchen linen change is possible for €5.
9. SMOKING, BBQ AND FIRE
- Smoking is only allowed on the roof terrace of Tasca Maria & Eduardo, a special smoking area. Use the ashtrays on the roof terrace to put out your cigarettes.
- The rest of the resort, both inside and outside smoking is not allowed.
- Portugal is unfortunately known for its forest fires. A small spark can lead to large fires. Handle fire, candles and cigarette butts with care. Do not dispose of anything flammable on the ground and in nature!
- Due to fire hazards, BBQs are not allowed in the resort.
10. NOISE AND NUISANCE
- We are located in a friendly and quiet residential area. We would like to ask you to respect the peace and quiet between 23:00 pm and 8:30 am and to keep the noise level to a minimum during these hours.
- We would like to ask you to take extra account of noise pollution on the terraces, in the garden and by the pool.
11. CANCELLATION POLICY
You can cancel your booking by e-mail. After receipt and confirmation of the e-mail, these are the cancellation conditions:
- Up to 8 weeks before the arrival date:
You pay 50% of the total rent. - Within 8 weeks to 4 weeks before the arrival date:
You pay 75% of the total rent. - Within 4 weeks before the arrival date:
You pay 100% of the total rent.
TRAVEL AND CANCELLATION INSURANCE
We recommend that you arrange a travel and cancellation insurance. You are responsible for arranging this insurance yourself. In the event of a cancellation, we will send an official invoice, which you can submit to your insurance company.
12. SUBSTITUTION
You can transfer the booking to another tenant no later than 7 days before the start of the rental. You will always need our written permission for this.
13. LIABILITY
- During your stay, you and your fellow tenants are liable for the accommodation, the furnishings and all items belonging to the rented object. Report damage to us immediately.
- We do not ask for a deposit, but if damage occurs, we can pass this on to the tenant.
- We are not liable for loss, theft and/or (personal) damage caused to or by tenants of Celebra a Vida Resort.
- We ask you to take extra care of the children on the roof terraces, stairs, general area and around and in the pool. The stairs are not equipped with child restraints. Celebra a Vida is never liable for indirect damage, including in any case consequential damage and lost savings.
- We are not liable for damage caused by natural forces, natural disasters, nuclear disasters, attacks, strikes, acts of violence, epidemics and other external factors.
- We are not liable or responsible for any damage, loss or alteration resulting from factors beyond our control.
- We have the right to cancel a booking at any time if circumstances beyond our control force or require us to do so. In such a case, we are only obliged to refund the amount of rent already paid.
- There might be construction works going on in the neighborhood of Celebra a Vida Resort. We are not liable for any inconvenience resulting from this.
14. COMPLAINTS
If the stay does not go according to expectations, please contact us as soon as possible to find a solution.
A complaints book is available and the complaint can also be reported online.
15. SWIMMING POOL
The saltwater swimming pool is open all year round and not heated.
- Swimming is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard present.
- Supervise your children by the pool.
16. YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

17. AGREE
When you book you agree to these terms and conditions. You then declare that you have read and understood the terms and conditions.
